Poverty, can we prevent it?
Poverty is a thing that has stricken people world wide. No matter where you go money rules the land and people who live there, whether there’s old money that people have inherited or hard working oil field workers. Everyone struggles with the big question. Where do I spend my money next? Some people invest and try to get as much money as possible whereas some people buy as many things as they can to try to seem like they’re not in poverty. Personally I don’t think race orientation, religion or anything have to do with how much money you make or whether you’re in poverty or not. I see the world as a huge mind game, where you make the decision of what path to go down next. If you strive to be rich and successful, do that. It’s not hard you just need to know simple things, like work ethic, and small ways you can innovate and better your life. then try to make your innovation or invention something you can sell like a service or product. Then sell it. If your not about the life of business or self made money, then it’s not super hard to get a decent hourly wage job ina warehouse making decent money. In that case all you need is good work ethic and you will advance like it’s no ones business. In my eyes I don’t see poverty as inevitable.
What are the biggest factors in poverty?
Poverty is a sign of a few things. laziness, lack of good decision making skills, or justified reasons to be living on government cheese. I feel like laziness is the biggest factor that causes poverty in our society. People feel like they can just sit around and get money for free, or they don’t want to work for the things they want. I also see that playing a huge role in the crime rates in our society. People who aren’t in school or that aren’t working have nothing to do in there free time and if they’re not working, they’re broke and they need money, so they steal. From hard working people. That also contributes to the decision making part of it too. It’s their choice to not work or to not go get an education. High school is free. There are plenty o good paying jobs that you only need a high school diploma to get. But if there is a justified reason that you can’t finish school, or can’t work, then government assistance should be there to help you.
Where are the statistics about laziness causing poverty? I mean I agree 100% that work ethic is essential to maintaining a full-filling income and that there are millions of people living in poverty due to choices that they made previously? But what about the majority of the poverty population that are actually considered to be working class, working at multiple jobs to provide for themselves and their families? That doesn't sound like laziness to me personally, but they're still in poverty. OR what about the millions in poverty due to disabilities?
ReplyDeleteWhere is your data? I feel this an opinion post without logic to back up your logic. Are there more people working low wage jobs living in poverty or staying home and what you called lazy? What does the data suggest regarding poverty and race or religion as you suggested?
